I have for years had a personal project where I call three veterans I know each and every Veteran's Day and thank them for their service to our country and for providing my freedom.
Afterall, if it weren't for them we would certainly be living under the tyranny of some other country less committed to freedom than we are as a people.
As a result of this project, I came up with an idea. I wondered how we could continue to thank veterans and support our troops long after they returned home. The solution is a bumper sticker that reads,
"Hey Veteran, Thanks For My Freedom"
I think when the idea catches on, veterans of year's past and today's brave soldiers will realize how much we appreciate them every time they see a car drive by with one in place.
